Introducing Farah De Rouck

In her capacity as VP of Commitment Structuring Advisory, Farah De Rouck dedicates most of her time to IFRS consultancy on utility development projects at GDF SUEZ Energy Europe & International. Next to this, she delivers IFRS in-house and public courses around the world, mainly in North America, Europe and the Middle East. She has assisted in multiple large IFRS first adoption projects for European quoted companies (mainly telecommunication and biotech industry). Prior to joining GDF SUEZ Group, she was part of the Deloitte Belgium IFRS desk, where she advised on a wide range of topics. Through her work at KPMG LLP (US), she assisted in numerous USGAAP audit assignments, including for clients subject to SEC regulations.

Farah is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California, and a Belgian ‘Réviseur d’Entreprises’. She is a member of the IFRS Committee of the Belgian Commission des Normes Comptables, and is trilingual (English/French/Dutch).
